Sometimes you're on a time crunch and don't have time to wash your hair after our workout, in that case, dry shampoo is your best friend for revitalizing and refreshing your look, but there is a trick to applying it for the best result which is spraying your hair with it while it's still in your ponytail and then massage it. In that way, you're targeting all of your sweatiest areas as opposed to just spraying it randomly. Avoid spilling bobby pins by storing them in an old tic-tac container and keeping them in your gym bag. This will help keep them from getting lost all over your bag and you'll always have them for whatever hairstyle you may be doing for your workout or after. Eating an orange before you work out will keep you super hydrated and help prevent your muscles from getting sore. Therefore, add an orange to your breakfast for a pre-workout boost your gym. Your gym shoes don't smell the best after your workout, so a fun hack is to take two dry tea bags and pack in your shoes after your workout to prevent them from smelling. The tea bags absorb the sweaty odor and leave you with much nicer smelling. A music tip when you're working out is to search playlists that fit whatever workout you're doing if you're on the treadmill find a cardio playlist it'll match your tempo and keep you motivated, you can also find slower playlists when you're doing yoga or stretching. If you ever get super red in the face after your workout, try to use a cucumber facial wipe. It will cool down your flush face quickly and removes excess makeup or dirt and leaves your face smelling fresh. When you have time to shower but you don't have much space in your gym bag, get some travel size containers for your products, and fill them with your shampoo and conditioner. Another tip is to always exercise on Monday to set a healthy psychological pattern for the rest of the week. So, you're more likely to make healthier decisions through the rest of the week and you’ll feel more energetic throughout the week. When you're doing sit-ups, your neck feels really painful; however, if you place your tongue on the roof of your mouth when you're doing sit-ups, it will stop you from straining your neck. It's really weird but it actually works so make sure to try it next time. Another tip is to pour Epsom salt baths into your bath for a pre or post-workout. Epsom salts are absorbed through the skin to relieve muscle tension, pain, and inflammation, they also help alleviate headaches and cramps. A hair tip is to wear braids or bunch ponytails because they are the best choices when exercising as they keep stray hairs out of your face and won't pull hard on your scalp like a normal ponytail. And finally, you can put magazine perfumes or cologne samples to good use by cutting one up and throwing it in your gym bag. They will keep your bag smelling fresh.
Applying these simple hacks can significantly improve your pre- and post-workout time. Do not hesitate to try them and tell your friends about them.
